PRIDECRAFT LEGS BY POLLARD
Anyone who has ever built something knows the pride that comes with finishing the build, and having done it yourself. You can feel that pride during every build, if your project gets done on a work bench you built yourself. Every set of Pridecraft legs comes with instructions to build a sturdy(60" x 24") work bench with only the legs and one sheet of 48" x 96" plywood. With a low difficulty level, this is a great project to do with just about anyone.
The plans are just a suggestion, because you have the ability to customize your bench to the work that you will be doing on it. Since the late 1960s, people have been doing just that. In fact Popular Mechanics, has had a go at their own plans for a cabinet-style workbench, twice. First in the October 1970 issue (pg. 162) in an article entitled "A Workbench Fit for a Pro" and again in January 1984 (pg. 114) in "Compact Workbench You Can Build."
